FAQ

Why don’t you have a single session in your offer?

Well, I do offer single sessions, but only for clients who have previously engaged with me in my coaching programs. My approach is guided by the motto ‘Coach the Person, not the Problem,’ inspired by the principles outlined in the book of the same title.

To achieve meaningful and sustainable changes, there are no quick fixes. It requires commitment, time, and effort. Just as Rome wasn’t built in a day, your transformation won’t happen overnight. However, if you decide to prioritize yourself as your best investment, you will begin to see results.

Let me illustrate this with a scenario: You’re feeling burned out, lacking motivation to face Monday mornings, overwhelmed by life’s challenges, and contemplating a career change but unsure of your direction. On top of that, you’re grappling with a fear of missing out on life’s pleasures while also experiencing financial stress and uncertainty about your future. Now, consider how much time it would realistically take to transition from point A to point B where you feel abundant, free, and in control of your life. Such a profound transformation cannot be achieved in a single session.

Once you’ve made significant progress and are on your journey towards personal empowerment, we can discuss the possibility of incorporating single sessions into our work together. These sessions would be ideal for addressing day-to-day challenges or discussing topics where my support could be beneficial

What is coaching?

Coaching is a collaborative process focused on empowering individuals to achieve their personal and professional goals. Unlike therapy or counseling, which often delve into past issues or traumas, coaching primarily looks forward, helping clients identify their strengths, overcome obstacles, and create actionable plans for success. However, it’s important to note that coaching does recognize the value of past experiences as resources, particularly when working with issues such as limiting beliefs and rewiring the brain. By exploring past experiences, clients can gain insights into patterns of thinking and behavior that may be holding them back, and work towards reframing their perspective and creating positive change in the present and future. A coach serves as a supportive partner throughout this process, providing guidance, accountability, and encouragement as clients navigate their journey of growth and self-discovery.

How does coaching work?

Coaching typically begins with an initial consultation or discovery session, where the coach and client discuss the client’s goals, challenges, and expectations. From there, the coach works with the client to establish clear objectives and develop a personalized action plan. Sessions may be conducted in person, over the phone, or via video conferencing, and typically occur regularly, such as weekly or bi-weekly. Throughout the coaching process, the coach provides support, feedback, and accountability, helping the client stay focused and motivated as they work towards achieving their desired outcomes. Coaching engagements can vary in duration depending on the client’s needs and goals, ranging from a few months to a year or more.

What types of coaching services do you offer?

I blend coaching and mentoring into my programs. Why is that? Because my clients come to me with specific problems or challenges to solve. Either it’s a career transition, or lack of motivation, or other issues on a communication level. While coaching is a powerful tool, when developing ourselves, we need access to knowledge and practical skills, to be able to move forward. And here is where mentoring steps in.

What can I expect from coaching sessions?
  • Goal Setting: Coaching sessions typically begin with clarifying your goals and aspirations. As your coach, I  will help you define specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) objectives that align with your values and desires.
  • Action Planning: Together we will develop actionable steps to move towards your goals. These action plans may include breaking down larger goals into smaller, manageable tasks, identifying potential obstacles, and strategizing ways to overcome them.
  • Accountability: I will hold you accountable for taking action toward your goals. During coaching sessions, you’ll review progress, celebrate achievements, and address any challenges or setbacks that arise.
  • Support and Encouragement: Coaching sessions provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My job is to listen actively and simply, be your mirror, reflecting on everything you share with me, so you can see your thinking patterns from an objective perspective.
  • Feedback and Reflection: Throughout your journey, I  may offer insights, perspectives, and constructive feedback to help you gain clarity, challenge limiting beliefs, and explore new possibilities. Reflection exercises may also be incorporated to deepen your self-awareness and promote personal growth.

Empowerment: Ultimately, coaching is about empowering you to become the best version of yourself. Through the coaching process, you’ll gain greater self-awareness, confidence, and resilience, allowing you to overcome obstacles, navigate life’s challenges, and create a fulfilling and meaningful life.

How long does it take to see results?

The timeline for seeing results in coaching can vary depending on individual circumstances, including the complexity of goals, level of commitment, and frequency of sessions. Some clients may experience noticeable progress even within the first sessions already (I have clients who had their first breakthrough after our first call), while others may require more time to achieve their desired outcomes. Approximately, it’s safe to say you should see changes after 4 -5 meetings. However, I will work with you to establish realistic expectations and milestones along your coaching journey.

What qualifications do you have as a coach?

As a coach, I hold two coaching certifications. One, Cornerstone Coaching, from an ICF accredited Coaching school, and the other one, Expert Coach, recognized by an International Authority for Professional Coaching & Mentoring. I have also undergone extensive training in Non-violent Communication Technique, Radical Candor, REBT, Radical Forgiveness, Feedback Culture, and Letting Go Technique, equipping me with the knowledge and skills to effectively support clients in achieving their goals. Additionally, I have 8 years of Recruitment experience and an overall 11 years of People Management background that further enhance my ability to serve my clients.

Do you offer free consultations or introductory sessions?

Yes, I offer complimentary consultations or introductory sessions for prospective clients. This initial meeting provides an opportunity for us to discuss your goals, explore how coaching can support you, and determine if we’re a good fit to work together. It’s a no-obligation opportunity for you to learn more about coaching and how it can benefit you.

How much does coaching cost?

Coaching fees can vary depending on factors such as the duration of the coaching process (minimum of 6 sessions), frequency of meetings, and the level of support provided. I offer different coaching packages tailored to meet the diverse needs and budgets of my clients. Please contact me directly to discuss specific pricing options and determine the best fit for you.

What is the difference between coaching and mentoring?

While coaching and mentoring share some similarities, they serve different purposes and employ distinct approaches. Coaching is primarily focused on helping clients identify and achieve their goals through self-discovery, accountability, and action planning. Mentoring, on the other hand, involves sharing expertise, advice, and guidance based on the mentor’s own experiences and knowledge. While coaching tends to be more client-centered and future-oriented, mentoring often involves a more directive approach and may include specific recommendations or strategies based on the mentor’s expertise.

How do I know if coaching is right for me?

Coaching may be a suitable option for you if:

  1. You feel stuck or dissatisfied with certain aspects of your life and are seeking guidance to move forward.
  2. You have specific goals or aspirations that you’re struggling to achieve on your own.
  3. You’re open to self-reflection and willing to explore new perspectives and approaches.
  4. You’re committed to taking action and making positive changes in your life.
  5. You recognize the presence of limiting beliefs or negative thought patterns that are holding you back from reaching your full potential.
  6. You’re eager to break free from these limiting beliefs and cultivate a mindset of empowerment, resilience, and self-belief.
  7. You value accountability, support, and personalized feedback in your journey towards personal growth and development.
  8. You’re ready to invest time, effort, and resources into your own well-being and success.

Coaching provides a supportive environment where you can challenge and overcome limiting beliefs, gain clarity on your values and priorities, and develop strategies to create the life you desire. If you’re still unsure whether coaching is right for you, I recommend scheduling a complimentary consultation to discuss your concerns and explore how coaching can help you achieve your goals.
